The National Institute of Health (NIH) hosted the Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Haji Aden, for a courtesy visit today. The Executive Director of the NIH, Dr. Hussein Abukar Muhiadin, warmly welcomed the Minister and gave him a tour of the Institute’s facilities and projects. The Minister learned about the achievements, challenges and ongoing activities of the NIH, which is dedicated to advancing health research and innovation in the country. The Deputy Director of the NIH also briefed the Minister on the Institute’s plans and priorities for the future. The Minister expressed his gratitude and admiration for the hard work and professionalism of the NIH staff and urged them to continue their efforts to improve health outcomes for the people.
