NIH Hosts Successful 1st Annual Research Exhibition Program in Mogadishu: A Week of Progress & Accomplishments

The National Institute of Health (NIH) is proud to announce the successful completion of its first-ever Annual Research Exhibition Program in Mogadishu. This week-long event showcased the progress and accomplishments in public health research activities throughout Somalia, producing detailed findings to guide policymakers and experts.NIH Hosts Successful 1st Annual Research Exhibition Program

The event was attended by a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) led by Dr. Malik Rahman, the WHO representative, in Somalia; Altaf Musani, Head of Disaster Management; and directors from the Ministry of Health- Somalia. The second day of the program saw a delegate from the NIS Foundation and the Somalia National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS). The third day was attended by research directors from universities and public health research professionals. The fourth and final day saw attendance by junior researchers and public health research professionals.
